Separation/Divorce Women's Support Group

Navigating the emotional journey of separation and divorce can be difficult. This 10 week group will provide women with the a great deal of emotional support from both peers and staff as they work through their individual issues. Many women often have to go through the pain of this process alone. In this group, participants are encouraged to seek help from both staff and peers. One of the goals of this group is to teach that one needs support from others in order to recover and that it is okay to ask for and accept help. Group members will find this a safe environment to promote connections, experience a validation of their feelings, and learn how to turn loss into opportunity. The theme of this group will be 'mapping your journey of change.'

Topics that we will cover include:

Dealing with hurting & healing, whether you are the leaver or the left
Understanding that feelings need to be felt
Learning to grieve & letting go of resentments
Practicing forgiving & understanding
Turning a sense of loss into an opportunity for learning
Utilizing planned self-care as a springboard toward recovery
Helping children cope with separation/divorce
Realizing how divorce can be a positive force
Feeling hopeful about your future & new possibilities

$350 for 10 sessions. Payment in full is required prior to the start of the first session (Visa, MC, Cash, Check, PayPal accepted).
